SellMasters Selling Skills Assessment

Assessment Sample Page The SellMasters Selling Skills Assessment will provide you with clear visibility into the current proficiency level of your sales force. The online assessment is adaptive and utilizes selling "situations" that will adjust in difficulty depending upon the knowledge level of the participant.

The assessment—which is timed and typically takes about 50 minutes to complete—has 45 multiple choice questions to assess the following eight critical selling skill areas:

  • Research
  • Gaining Access
  • Meeting Preparation
  • Questioning
  • Listening
  • Discovery & Validation
  • Communicating Value
  • Negotiating & Closing

The SellMasters Selling Skills Assessment measures selling skills, selling behavior, selling cognition and value structure. Once the assessment is completed, each participant (or a designated manager or individual in your company) immediately receives an email with the results that include absolute score (1-5), percentile score, and a strengths and weaknesses summary. Scores are also mapped to SellMasters' Levels of Sales Proficiency Chart.
